Selling this one is going to be really hard, but I just don’t pick it up over my Les Paul or Telecaster. The neck pickup on single coil is especially tasty. I tried very hard to get the best bits I could to make this as versatile a guitar as possible. It plays wonderfully, and has a great deal of versatility sound wise. The guitar is basically an ES335 and an ES345 in one wiring wise, the capacitors are proper bumblebee caps from Luxe Capacitors. Three of the pots are now CTS push pull pots, the two volumes spilt the pickups for single coil sounds, and the neck tone pot switches in the varitone so you don’t have to have it in the circuit if you don’t want. The pickups have been changed to a pair of IronGear Blues Engine PAF-a-likes but while I had that done, I changed the entire wiring loom, the caps, the pots and the varitone switch to a proper point to point one. The pickups weren’t doing it for me, and I discovered that the varitone switch was a pcb unit, not what I was looking for. Originally, this guitar had filter-tron type pickups in it, along with the varitone switch. These guitars have become pretty rare, it took me a long time to find one of these having wanted one for a long time.
